Dulos, who has been charged with felony murder, murder, and kidnapping, will likely have the funds to bail out within a day, his attorney Norm Pattis said on the Stamford Superior Courthouse steps following his client's arraignment on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
Pattis argued to have the bail reduced to $1 million because Dulos has been "compliant" while out on bail on other charges associated with his wife's disappearance in New Canaan.
Dulos, who was wearing a dress shirt and coat jacket, stood silent, if not a bit disheveled following a night at the MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution in Suffield.
In addition to keeping the original bail amount, Judge John Blawie also ordered Dulos held on house arrest and to continue wearing a GPS monitor if he does make bail.
Also appearing were Dulos' former lover, Michelle Troconis, and his former attorney and friend, Kent Mawhinney, both charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the case.
Blawie reduced Troconis bail to $1.5 million but kept Mawhinney's at $2 million. Both were also ordered to house arrest and GPS monitoring if they make bail.
While Jennifer Farber Dulos' body has never been found, the mother of five has not been seen since Friday, May 24, after dropping off her children at school.
According to the arrest warrants Jennifer Dulos died from “non-survivable” injuries during an attack inside the garage of her New Canaan home.
The state’s chief medical examiner stated she likely died from “some combination of traumatic, blunt-force injuries such as a bludgeoning/beating, and/or sharp-force injuries such as a stabbing/slashing,” according to the arrest warrant.
